The Organic Optoelectronics Group (Prof. Bin Hu) will have two Ph.D openings with full scholarship including salary, tuition and insurance for 2020 Fall semester in Department of Materials Science and Engineering at University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Tennessee 37996.

课题组信息
The group has a very strong international reputation in the fundamental research of organic optoelectronics with the publications at Nature Materials, Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, Joule, Advanced Energy Materials, JACS, ACS Nano, Nano Energy, etc. The Organic Optoelectronics Group collaborate with Oak Ridge National Lab (USA), University of Strasbourg (France), Seoul National University (South Korea), and Taiwan University (Taiwan). 招生要求
The candidates with background in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, and Electrical Engineering are welcome. Strong academic records will be considered with high priority.

研究方向
The Ph.D research will be the fundamental studies of dynamic behaviors of excited states in organic and perovskite optoelectronic materials and devices at Joint Institute of Advanced Materials. The research activities include preparing materials, fabricating optoelectronic devices, and performing multi-disciplinary experimental measurements including time-dependent photoluminescence, Raman, pump-probe transient absorption, impedance spectroscopy, and magnetic field effects.
