导师及职位介绍：

Dr. Hao Chen is a full professor in the Department of Chemistry & Environmental Science at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT, https://www.njit.edu/), a top 100 National University by QS USA ranking. NJIT is a R1 research university and located in Newark of New Jersey, a state known for owning many world-class pharmaceutical companies such as Merck, BMS, Johnson & Johnson, Novartis. etc.. Our group research focuses on mass spectrometric study of proteins, reaction mechanism, and electrochemistry. Dr. Chen has over 130 papers published in peer-reviewed journals including Chem., Nature Commun., JACS, Angewante, etc. (H index: 45). Dr. Chen’s group has extensive ongoing collaborations with many top research universities and pharmaceutical/chemical companies.  Dr. Chen’s group has 1-2 Ph.D. student positions available for 2023, which provide competitive stipends and fringe benefits with tuition being covered. Students with backgrounds in analytical chemistry, organic chemistry or pharmaceutical science are encouraged to apply. In terms of English requirement, the minimum score required is 79 for the Internet-based TOEFL exam (or 6.5 for the IELTS exam). For GRE, it will be fine as long as you have a grade.
