20 Full Scholarships in Canada and UK for MSc (Research) and PhD
(Female candidates, Women in Engineering, are encouraged to apply)

Starting in 2024, 2025 and 2026, there are 20 Full Scholarships for MSc (Research) and PhD in wireless communication majors, machine learning, AI, quantum machine learning, signal processing, and applications in 6G, metaverse, autonomous systems, environment, healthcare, and sustainable energy.

At the moment, Prof Trung Q. Duong (IEEE Fellow, AAIA Fellow, author of 450+ papers, PI/Co-I of research grant +£22M) of Queen's University Belfast, UK and Prof Octavia A. Dobre (IEEE Fellow, AAIA Fellow, CAE Fellow, author of 500+ papers, PI/Co-I of research grant +$20M) of Memorial University, Canada are collaborating on a number of major projects and have many MSc and PhD scholarships available to students for the next few years. Telecommunications subject of the two universities are ranked among the top 100 in the world (ARWU Shanghai Ranking Table 2023). The scholarship is very generous and covers both tuition fees and living expenses.

The application is a single pdf file consisting of:
1)        Resume,
2)        University transcripts (for MSc candidates), + MSc transcripts (for PhD candidates),
3)        English certificate (if any).

The first cohort of successful candidates will start in 2024 and study under the joint guidance of Prof Duong and Prof Dobre. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to study MSc in Canada (these are only available in Canada), or PhD in Canada/UK.
Students who currently do not meet the eligibility criteria are encouraged to prepare their applications for the next round in 2025 and 2026.
