Prof. Joo-Youp Lee’s research group in the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering at the University of Cincinnati is currently accepting applications for a few Ph.D. graduate student positions in Fall 2023.
The Lee lab (https://joo-youplee-lab.weebly.com/) is developing an innovative sorbent-based Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology.  Self-motivated students with an interest in inorganic chemistry, synthesis, characterization, adsorption, and process engineering are encouraged to apply.  Successful Ph.D. students will work with postdoctoral fellows on the development of sorbent and process for an energy-efficient, thermally-stable, and oxidation-resistant DAC technology.  Students with a master’s degree are desired but are not required.  Students with interests in the research project can directly contact Dr. Joo-Youp Lee at joo.lee@uc.edu.
