作为一个多学科交叉的研究团队,本实验室拥有活跃和开放的研究气氛,为团队成员提供丰富的学术和职业发展机会。我们欢迎下列(但不限于)方向或者有相关背景的同学加入团队:凝聚态物理, 生物物理,软物质物理,物理化学,流体力学,工程等。

1. 生命活性物质的集体运动和自组织:
Autonomous waves and global motion modes in living active solids (Haoran Xu et al., Nature Physics, 2022); Viscoelastic control of spatiotemporal order in bacterial active matter (Song Liu et al., Nature, 2021); Weak synchronization and large-scale collective oscillation in dense bacterial suspensions (Chong Chen et al., Nature, 2017);
2. 微生物在复杂流体和环境中的运动机制:
Reduced surface accumulation of swimming bacteria in viscoelastic polymer fluids (Ding Cao et al., PNAS, 2022); non-contact cohesive swimming of bacteria in two-dimensional liquid films (Ye Li et al. Physical Review Letters, 2017);
3. 微生物群体动力学和定量生物学:
Self-organized canals enable long range directed material transport in bacterial communities (Ye Li et al., eLife, 2022); Dynamic motility selection drives population segregation in a bacterial swarm (Wenlong Zuo & Y. Wu, PNAS, 2020); Self-organization of swimmers drives long-range fluid transport in bacterial colonies (Haoran Xu et al., Nature Communications 2019).
