The Intelligent Biomedical Systems Group in the Department of Intelligent Systems Engineering at Indiana University Bloomington is inviting multiple fully NIH funded positions for Postdoc Researchers and PhD students. The position is available immediately until filled. We conduct highly multidisciplinary research at the frontiers of Engineering, Life Sciences, and Translational Medicine specifically Human Organoids, Stem Cell Technologies, BioMEMS, Microfluidics, and Biomaterials. We are developing organ-on-a-chip technologies and theranostic systems for neural disease.
We are recruiting exceptional postdoc candidates with:
1. Passion for innovation and excellence;
2. Ability to collaborate and work in a team;
3. Have (or expect to receive) a PhD, MD, or MD/PhD degree, with one of the following expertise:
a) Cell biology, neurosciences, stem cell, organoid, tissue engineering, and/or gene editing.
Or
b) Microfluidics, organ-on-a-chip, biomaterials, biodevices/sensors, and/or machine learning.
We are recruiting PhD students with:
1. Passion for innovation and excellence;
2. Ability to collaborate and work in a team;
3. Have (or expect to receive) a bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: Physics, Engineering, Materials, Biology, or Chemistry.
