导师介绍:张艺辰,美国德州大学阿灵顿分校电气工程系助理教授,于2010年获得西北工业大学本科学位,2012年获得西安交通大学硕士学位,2018年获得美国田纳西大学博士学位,并参与了由美国自然科学基金(NSF)和能源部(DOE)共同资助的工程研究中心(ERC)超广域柔性电能传输中心(CURENT)的相关项目与研究。2016年至2018年期间,他同时在橡树岭国家实验室担任研究助理。2018年至2022年,他就职于阿贡国家实验室。张艺辰博士共发表发表论文30余篇,其中IEEE期刊论文10余篇。他是电力系统领域多个国际著名学术期刊的审稿人,获得IEEE Transactions on Power Systems和IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid优秀审稿人奖,以及2022年IEEE PES General Meeting优秀论文奖。他的研究领域包括:电力系统动态和稳定性分析,大规模并网逆变器控制,低惯量电网和微电网控制。更多信息请参考https://sites.google.com/view/yichenzhangee/home

Welcome
Ph.D. positions with research/teaching assistantship are available in Dr. Yichen Zhang’s research group at University of Texas at Arlington for Fall 2022/Spring 2023 admission. Selected candidates will work with Dr. Zhang in the following areas:
•        Power system dynamics, stability, control, and hardware-in-the-loop simulation
•        Inverter-based resources, grid-forming inverters, microgrid control
•        Power grid resilience enhancement using learning-assisted decision-making

Required Qualifications
•        A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or other relevant fields, upon admission.
•        A relevant background in electric power system, or system and control/optimization/machine learning with application in electrical engineering

Preferred Qualifications
•        Holding a master’s degree in electrical engineering upon admission

•        Experience in writing scientific research articles
