美国托莱多大学 University of Toledo 生物工程/生物医学工程招博士,全奖, 2020春/秋季入学
研究方向:组织工程/生物微流体平台开发。研究课题涉及生物力学,流体力学,纳米材料科学,以及组织工程。研究课题包括应用纳米技术开发基于血管化微流控的仿生系统用于药物筛选以及研究内皮细胞炎症、乳腺癌转移。开发基于炎症反应的靶向药物递送系统,等。

申请条件:(博士研究生 TA/RA)最低托福79或雅思6.5 (口语6.5), GRE成绩必须但无最低分数要求。具有较强的科研能力和敬业精神,对科研有浓厚兴趣。
待遇:博士研究生全额奖学金以及免学费

Novel microfluidics-based systems for rapid screening of therapeutics

Multiple Ph.D. positions are immediately available at the Biomimetics Laboratory at the Department of Bioengineerng, University of Toledo. Funded by major university grants and in collaboration with several academic/industrial partners, the student will use state of the art in vivo models and novel microfluidic systems to study the role of endothelial cells in inflammation and cancer metastasis. The student will also learn to develop microfluidics-based biomimetic systems for therapeutics screening and understanding the underlying pathophysiology of the above-mentioned disease.

Prospective students with any engineering/science background are encouraged to apply, with priority given to Bio/Biomedical/Mechanical Engineering, or medicine/life science major. Student should hold at least a b.s. or equivalent degree. Prior research experience is a plus.
