新加坡国立大学（National University of Singapore) Vincent Gan 教授招收博士生，研究助理，CSC联合培养博士，主要研究方向: 激光雷达扫描，AI, Scan2BIM。目前提供一个研究助理职位（就职时间2024年初）。具体要求如下： Ideal candidates should hold a Master's degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, or a related discipline. Selected RAs will engage in projects centred on robotic scanning and scan-to-BIM. Key Qualifications: 1.        Proficiency with laser scanning, LiDAR, and Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM), including open-source frameworks and algorithms for 3D scene reconstruction. 2.        Skilled in 2D mapping, ground robot navigation, and control. 3.        Immediate knowledge in scan planning optimisation algorithms. 4.        Strong ability in Python programming and familiarity with the LINUX platform. Experience in high-precision mapping and 3D reconstruction will be beneficial. 5.        A Master's degree with at least one year of experience in SLAM development and Python programming would be preferred. The appointed RA will support the planning and execution of research projects alongside PhD students and other RAs within the research group and the Centre for 5G Digital Building Technology. This includes conducting research, analysing results, preparing reports and papers.
