full epsrc overseas phd studentship in materials and optics, at queen mary university of london

we seek a phd student in materials and optics in the school of engineering and materials science at queen mary university of london (qmul). this phd studentship is fully funded by epsrc dtp, suitable for overseas applicant. the successful candidate is anticipated to start in autumn 2022.

the relevant project aims to develop novel optical devices based on single-crystal perovskites. candidates with good first degrees in materials engineering/science, optical engineering, fibre optics, optoelectronics, are encouraged to apply. application from applications holding either maser degrees or bachelor’s degrees will be considered. qmul has a minimum english language requirement of ielts 6.5 or toefl equivalent for these phd studentships.
