The DONG group is looking for enthusiastic students and researchers. Our research topics include functional nanomaterials design and synthesis, soft materials and robots, and energy harvesting/sensing devices. Students with background/interest in materials science, biomedical engineering, and solid mechanicsare encouraged to apply.

* Four positions available: Two postdocs (start immediately) and two PhD students (Fall 2023).
*For prospective PhD students, if you are interested in joining our group, please send your CV, academic transcript and publications (if any) to Prof. Dong. All candidates should also apply to the department of mechanical and industrial engineering through the NJIT admission.
* Postdoc researchers who have the background mentioned above are welcome to directly inquire the position with your CV, publications and research interests. All candidates should apply through the NJIT careers site.
