Job description
We are actively seeking outstanding candidates to fill in Ph.D. positions. Ph.D. students will work on topics of Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) and Internet-of-Things (IoT) with focuses on security, real-time, and AI/machine learning, addressing applications including autonomous vehicles, UVAs, and smart transportation, etc. We highly encourage enthusiastic and motivated graduate students to apply.
Requirement
Applicants from majors including computers science, computer engineering, electrical engineering (e.g., communication and control), information security, or relevant majors, are encouraged to apply.

Dr. Fanxin Kong's short bio
Dr. Kong is a tenure-track assistant professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Syracuse University. His research interests include security, real-time, intelligence for Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) and Internet-of-Things (IoT). His research techniques include machine learning, control, optimization, algorithm design, and game theory.
Dr. Kong has published over 50 research papers at major highly reputable venues, including RTSS, RTAS, IoTDI, ICCPS, EMSOFT, DAC, Infocom, etc. He has also authored 3 books. Dr. Kong also has severed as committees and reviewers for many top conferences and journals.
