The Department of Computer Science, Kennesaw State University, recruits full-awarded doctoral students. Doctoral students will receive a full scholarship (RA) funding, starting in the fall semester of 2022. We are doing cutting-edge research in cloud computing, data centers, distributed systems, big data, edge computing, internet-of-things, and other research directions, and we are publishing research in ACM/IFIP/USENIX Middleware, IEEE IPDPS, IEEE ICDCS, IEEE INFOCOM, ACM/IEEE EuroSys, etc. One characteristic of system research is its close ties with the industry, especially in the fields of cloud computing and big data. After graduation, students will have many job opportunities (e.g., Google, Microsoft, IBM, Facebook). Students with backgrounds in computer, mathematics, automation, and other related subjects are hoped to actively apply.
