Examples of application: pulse combustion, biological propulsion, synthetic jets, active flow control, cardiovascular haemodynamics. • Complex Flow-Structure Interactions: Wake characteristics and stability analysis of flow around complex passive or dynamic systems using either operator or data driven techniques. Examples of application: structural stability, drag reduction, renewable energy harvest. • Advanced Experimental Technique Development: PIV and other non-intrusive multivariable simultaneous measurement based on algorithms such as data assimilation (combining CFD and PIV), machine learning, compressed sensing.
