In Namibia there are both paintings and engravings - that's where the surface of the rock is cut out.
在纳米比亚,岩石上雕刻出绘画和雕刻品。
Many of the engravings show footprints of animals and most scholars used to think that the purpose of these was simple and obvious:
许多雕刻品上刻有动物的足迹,许多学者认为其目的简单明了。
this rock art was like a school book with pictures to teach children about tracks: which track belonged to which animal - giraffe, lion and so on.
这些石刻艺术就像带有图片的教科书一样可以教孩子们如何找寻踪迹。包括长颈鹿、狮子等等。

Situated in the western suburbs of Beijing, the Summer Palace, originally constructed in Qing Dynasty, is one of the largest and best-preserved imperial gardens in China. It was badly damaged during the war in 1860 and was restored on its original site in 1886. Since Qing Dynasty collapsed in 1911, the Summer Palace has been open to the public as a park. Mainly composed of Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake, the Summer Palace is honored as the "Imperial Garden Museum", with more than 100 classical architectures of ethnic features inside the garden, such as palaces, temples, long corridors and stone bridges. The artificial landscape inside the Summer Palace is harmoniously combined with natural hills and peaceful lakes, displaying a beautiful picture of landscape to tourists.
