Professor Yang为毕业于新加坡南洋理工大学的博士，现任鲁汶大学副教授。具有深厚的学术功底和国际化视野，同时为国际SCI期刊Desalination (IF=7.038）等杂志编辑及编委，其研究同时为领域内的主要研究方向为膜科学技术及化工过程强化，应用于金属矿物中和蛋白质资源回收等。

招CSC全奖博士生2名，2021年秋季入学，其他联合培养奖学金的申请者请咨询。

具体可选课题为以下几个方向：
Potential topics:
1.        Novel affinity membranes for macromolecule purification in biopharmaceutical applications.
2.        Isoporous membrane for virus removal from blood streams.
3.        Module design and modelling for antibody separation in downstream processing.
4.        Stimuli-responsive membrane for capture and recovery of alkali metal ions.
5.        Electro-driven process for lithium separation: transport model and process design.
6.        Design of polymer inclusive membranes for Lithium separation
7.        Novel adsorptive membranes for ammonia recovery from industry wastewater
8.        Integrating membrane separation into microfluidics for efficient preconcentration: a way to intensify detection of trace components (in wastewater or body fluid such as saliva)
9.        Membrane crystallization for protein harvesting
