麦吉尔大学矿业和材料系宋俊教授McGill Multiscale Modeling of Materials Group (M3G) 实验室现招聘2024年冬季或秋季入学的博士生若干名。宋教授目前担任麦吉尔大学采矿与材料工程系执行系主任和William Dawson学者。实验室主要专注于整合多尺度计算技术、连续介质力学和人工智能,以实现先进航空航天和核材料、氢经济、能量转换和存储以及纳米技术领域的材料创新。团队获得包括来自加拿大自然基金委,加拿大创新基金委,加拿大前沿研究基金,魁北克省自然和技术研究基金会,及多家航空公司等多方资金支持,主要成果发表在如Nature Materials, PNAS, PRL, Acta Materialia等期刊。

Prof. Song heads the McGill Multiscale Modeling of Materials Group (M3G) and co-leads the McGill Hydrogen Embrittlement Facility (MHEF). He is currently the interim Department Chair of Mining and Materials Engineering, and William Dawson Scholar at McGill University.Song’s group focuses on integrating multi-scale computational techniques, continuum mechanics and artificial intelligence for materials innovation in the areas of advanced aerospace and nuclear materials, hydrogen economy, energy conversion and storage, and nanotechnology.

Solid mechanics, Hydrogen embrittlement and corrosion, Atomistic simulations, Continuum numerical simulations, machine learning.
