新南威尔士大学光伏与可再生能源学院钙钛矿课题组招收PhD全额奖学金学生
University of New South Wales (UNSW) is ranked top 20 in the QS university global rankings. UNSW School of Photovoltaic & Renewable Energy (SPREE) is internationally recognised for its record-breaking research in solar power (photovoltaics) and renewable energy. The PERC solar cell was first invented at UNSW in our labs in 1983 and today powers more than 85% of all new solar panel modules all over the world. SPREE’s work and people have changed the face of sustainable energy on the global stage, and we continue to be at the forefront of leading-edge research and development in the field of renewable technology as our economies transition away from fossil fuels.We are looking for excellent students for our projects on perovskite solar cell technology. The PhD project will be done in our state-of-the-art laboratories, using our advance fabrication and characterisation facilities. The student will be supervised by Prof. Xiaojing Hao and Dr. Meng Zhang. Suitable students will be awarded with a full scholarship up to 3.5 years (PhD duration in Australia is 3-3.5 years). The scholarship fully covers the university fees and provides additional allowance to cover living costs (AUD $35,000 per year, tax free), there will also be a conference allowance of $3,000 per conference to support the PhD candidate attending international conferences (at least two conferences during the candidature).
The candidates are expected to be graduate from a Master by research program, focusing on perovskite solar cells. At least one international journal publication in a relevant research area is required. IELTS test results should meet the requirement of UNSW with an overall score of 6.5.
